Epic battles both Won and Postponed.

(before we begin. Yes I did that and I'm rather proud of it)

So how's your week been?
That's good.
(Banters back and forth with you for a while and inculdes sincere platitudes of your greatness before the subject crawls back around to me)

Oh my week you ask? Well, it was a typical finals week really. My lovely computer contracted a virus just when I needed it the most.
I spent all of monday night (that's right no sleep) purging the fucker from my sweet computer. I've got it most of the way restored, but I'm going to have to wipe the OS and start fresh (it's ok though I've been meaning to for a while. Things have been twitchy).

But then I've spent the last three days at school. Monday, like normal. And on tuesday I volenteered to go in. Like a promising martial art student I was deemed worthy to learn a new technique to help in my modeling (and boy is it sweet). Cloth simulators (though a pain in the ass to learn how to use [I still don't have it fully down] are worth the trouble). And when I got home my faith was restored in my machine (well enough to complete my studies enough to turn in.)

But while in the final stages of prepping for my final day of class I passed out at my computer (well at least I think it was at my computer. That's where I last remember being anyway) and woke on my couch to find I hadn't completed either of my finals and was a half hour late waking up. So determined to finish everything and make it to school on time I through what I had together, printed out what needed to be printed out and ran out the door an hour and a half after I was supposed to leave.

But fear not. By some miracle of the morning traffic (and going almost 90 in a 55) I made it to class only five minutes late.

And that's when my heart stopped.

Your sitting there wondering, "If his heart stopped then how is he telling us this?"

Well, you litteral ass, It's a figure of speech isn't it? Anyway the reason my heart stopped is as I tried to open the door to my class I found it wouldn't open. It was locked. Full of fear that the nice Jelena had taken leave of her goodness and replaced herself with a horrible finals version of herself I tried politely knocking on the door (being polite will get you quite a few places. So will a few well placed tears [But that's a story about how I conned my way into another semester at Stout and not for the present time]).

Anyway I politely knocked, fully expecting to be turned away, and a confused Jelena came and opened the door and wondered why it was locked. Turns out that not only was it unintentional (and amusing) but we had an extra half hour of work time! Plenty of time to finish everything that needed to be finished.

The day preceeded like any other (although I think a girl in my class likes me hehe[I'd say more but I'm too afraid to ask her out and I don't think she's going to ask me out{It's my psycosis and I'll do as I damn well please}]) and I got everything in on time. Yay!

But the final test of the afternoon was to finish taking my leave for the summer. I had to go around to the various departments and get signitures (like a scavenger hunt) from the various department heads say that "yes he can go on summer vacation". Silly Burocracy.

Let me interrupt here and say that it is not a fun scavenger hunt. In fact it's awful. Insead of getting prizes for my finding these people (which isn't easy but that part will come after this interrupt [All things in due time]) I instead got to fill out TONS of paper work. Yippie!

Anyway I've been trying to track the last person I needed to sign my stupid sheet for almost a week now. And everytime I try and find this person (I've been going at varried times hoping to catch a gilmpse of him) he is either out of the office, at lunch, in the office but in a meeting, or just plain dissapeared and no one can find him. I was starting to believe this guy didn't exist. And they just made him up so I couldn't take the summer off.

But luckily I managed to wait him out and got a meeting with the exulted one where I had to fill out even more paper work (each and every time it's paper work saying that, "Yes I'm taking the summer off, and yes I plan on coming back, and no I don't want cake." (I was lying about the cake bit. I just wish there was cake =(.

I call this man the exulted one, not as a form of honorific, but more as sarcasm because he was surly to me. He didn't seem to like the idea that I was taking the summer for my own. And the more I tried to be cheery the more he seemed to want me to be stuck in administrative hell (probably because he was).

But I filled out his forms got to turn down three grand the school was holding for my schooling and was finally allowed to come home.

Whew that's a lot of stuff.
Sorry for making you read all that.

Anyway now I get to recharge and take some trips that I've been wanting to for a while and read some books that I've been wanting to. And finish some projects I've been wanting to.

But first, I'm tired. And I'm going to bed. Anti-climactic I know, but an adventurer I'm not. I'm just tired.

Anyway enjoy the art. I appreciate the comments by Angela and Damian, they were insanely helpful. I'd also like to thank everyone for not mentioning that I was staring at the profiles of their faces last weekend trying to discern what makes a jaw feminine.

Night all.
